Town and County Taxes are Due
Ithaca Town and County tax bills were mailed during the last week of December. You may pay your bill at the Ithaca Town Hall at 251 N. Tioga Street in person with cash, check or money order or send in a check or money order. You may also pay your bill online. More>>
Short Term Rental Permits The Village of Cayuga Heights adopted Local Law 2018-1 for short term rentals within the Village which was effective February 9th, 2018. This law established Village regulations for the rental of dwellings for periods of twenty-eight (28) days or less. Short term rental permit renewals were due January 1st. Applications, sample logs, and fire safety checklists can be found on our website. Logs from guest stays (for renewals) and payment must also be returned to the Village Clerks office within ten(10) days of completing the application. As a reminder, anyone who plans to rent out their home, even if only for graduation weekend, must obtain a premit through the Village. The Department of Public Works will be travelling throughout the Village to pick up Christmas trees and wreaths starting the second week of the new year. Please place your tree curbside and be sure to remove all decorations. Village Hall will be closed on Monday, January 21st in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Water and Sewer Rate Changes Water and sewer rates are going up on January 1, 2019. The new rate will be $10.32 per 1,000 gallons, an increase of 3.2%. The minimum bill will be $51.60 a quarter. More>>
